Dubai Chamber receives Integrated Management System Certification

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been awarded the Integrated Management System, IMS, certification in recognition of its compliance to international standards in internal management systems, managing its operations with speed, efficiency and flexibility.

dubaichamberThis advanced certificate covers Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration System (ISO 18001), as the 50-year-old business organisation applies the standard evaluation process across all its internal management systems.

Hamad Buamim, President and CEO of the Dubai Chamber, said, “The certificate is an endorsement of the chamber’s quality management approach, as it requires a system to manage operations, resources, risk and health and safety at the workplace as this goes in line with our strategy as well.

Commenting on the granting of the TUV InterCert GmbH, Mrs. Lamis Maraqa Director of Global Business Bureau (GBB) UAE & Gulf and Partner of TUV InterCert GmbH, highlighted the importance of this achievement as a recognition of compliance with international standards.
